This is a little survey to find the person with the best mustache on Twitter. The idea came about when I saw a tweet from @PaulGrahamRaven to @rakdaddy. Frankly, I think that @rakdaddy has one sweet stache (just sayin'), but I got the idea that I might just ask around to see who had a better stache.

Like say... Awesome Mustache?.

You Were the Judge!

With 165 responses, I feel we have a statistically significant sample (at least as far as facial hair and twitter can be significant). So, without further hooptedoodle, here are the results:

Brogan has 87% brand recognition. Reviewing the text responses, we would actually adjust this figure upward as it seems clear that some respondents were less than honest in answering this question. That said, an overwhelming majority of respondents knew that Brogan had in fact removed his facial hair.

77% of respondents felt that Brogan should retain some combination of facial hair. However, at 22% we cannot ignore those who preferred the "Teen" Brogan look. In fact, when reviewing the text responses, it appears that those who liked Brogan Teen were ferverent in their devotion to the clean shaven look. Comments such as "yummy" and "Better than Cats" indicate both feelings of playfulness and perhaps some latent sexual arousal.

Its actually not a goatee - it was a van dyke http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mustache [editor's note: common misconception. A van dyke is a big moustache with a little chin beard/soul patch. Technically, Brogan has a "spanish beard".]

"Brogan Grunge" gave me permission to go there too. Sad to see it go. Now, since I'm a slave to Social Media, I have to shave off my goatee as well.

I like well-groomed men and I don't care for a lot of facial hair. The shaved face makes Chris look clean-cut, professional and YOUNGER--lol! Now if we can get him to cut
the hair a little more (not a lot) then he'd be the complete package. Go Chris!

You look like a totally different person with the shaved face and winter skin. Either go Lumberjack-lite (not so heavy on the beard) or keep the shaved look and head to Tahiti for a week. I vote the latter
