Stop Hammer Time

I found this image on Chris Brogan's Saying No post. Chris' post itself is quite awesome (see quote below). However, it's afroswede's photo that makes me the happiest.

It’s not easy to back out of things. The feeling of guilt for not completing a project is high. The sense that you’re letting someone down is a heavy lump in your belly. And yet, once one realizes that one isn’t going to be able to maintain the current pace, and that maybe one has bitten off too much, there’s really no other path (unless pure destruction is a path).

The picture, in MANY ways, is better than the post. Truly.

I met Hammer last year at Tech Crunch 40. Good dude.

@Chris Thanks for stopping by. Every time I look at this picture I wonder where my parachute pants got off to… Cool that you got to meet Hammer and odd about the venue.

In the late 80s, I met James Brown in the Atlanta airport. It was me, the Godfather of Soul, and two bodyguards (his not mine). No one else around. Incredibly surreal.

Sometimes I wonder about the way my mind works. Amazon adds a new MP3 widget to their associates program and I use it to beat dead horses.
